Frequently asked questions
Good to know.
What does a full renovation cost in Oslo?+
A full renovation in Oslo typically costs NOK 15,000–30,000 per square metre, depending on standard, age of the property and how much is done to bathroom, kitchen and technical systems. Figures are indicative market levels, not a quote — the final price is always agreed in the offer after a site visit.
How long does a full renovation take?+
From 3 weeks for a 60 m² flat — and longer with size and scope. Houses and commercial premises take longer, and planning and permits come on top.
Can I live there during the renovation?+
For an extensive renovation replacing kitchen, bathroom and floors: usually not. Many rent elsewhere for 2–4 months. For smaller projects it may be possible to stay.
Is there a minimum job size?+
We mainly broker larger jobs and normally don't take single jobs under NOK 100,000. If you're unsure whether your project fits, send the form anyway — we'll let you know.
Who is responsible for the work?+
The agreement is made directly between you and the supplier, and the supplier is responsible for the work. Our role is to vet who gets into the network and to follow up after the job. If a disagreement arises, we help with the dialogue to find a solution.
